Where there is an open ocean, there is a surf. It’s an indispensable attribute of any beach outing. It is easy to lose track of time standing there or walking along the waterline, just watching the relentless rhythmic crash of waves against the shore, and listening to the soft whoosh of the ocean’s deep and deliberate breath. Definitely puts you in a meditative mood.
