According to John Updike, the true New Yorkers secretly believe that “people living anywhere else had to be, in some sense, kidding”. And even though I myself wouldn’t want to live in New York permanently, I perfectly see where this is coming from. I said permanently, because I did live in NYC temporarily. I was lucky enough to have spent 2 years there, due to my work. I had the best time, and New York itself was a big part of it. While I was enjoying myself – immensely, I might add – I always remembered to keep snapping pictures, shutterbug that I am. I mentioned on the home page that I accumulated more than 100,000 pictures over the years. Well, 15,000 of those are from NYC. So, this section of the website promises to get quite big eventually.
