Seaside

Seaside is our next stop after Astoria (although, we didn’t technically stop in Astoria). As you can see, it’s not one, but several galleries. Which tells you that I love this place, been here more than once, and have lots of pictures from here. In fact, Seaside is my favorite place on the Oregon Coast. It has several advantages for me. First, it’s only a 6-hour drive from where I live. Easily doable in one go. Also, it has a vibe of a real seaside resort town, not just a place on the coast. It has all the things I mentioned before – tacky giftshops, antiquated video arcades, – and the Promenade! The Promenade is a big piece of it all. So, this is where we start.
